Police search after hit and run

Bunbury police are seeking a driver after a vehicle collided with parked cars just metres from a business shopfront before the driver fled the scene.
A car has slammed into a work van parked out the front of Vacuum World at Bourke Street in Bunbury, pushing the vehicle into another parked car.

Police say a man drove off after the collision which occurred about 2pm.
Police on the scene said the man’s car has since been found, but a search is under way to find its driver.

The man is believed to be known to police.
Police were speaking to several surrounding businesses in the area including one which had closed-circuit TV cameras at the front of its building.

An officer said police were hopeful it captured the incident.
The two parked vehicles received significant damage.
