Australind police were yesterday calling for information about a car which was found burning in bushland.

The 2002 silver Mitsubishi Pajero was stolen from a Millbridge home between 7.15pm and 11.15pm on Saturday and later found on fire in bush near Wimbridge Road in Picton.

Australind police officer-in-charge Sen. Sgt Mark Smith said the owner – who was home at the time – had not heard anything and had the keys.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Australind police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
