‘Precursor’ for city developments

One of the first developments set to take advantage of Bunbury’s new town planning scheme will be the “precursor to many”, according to Mayor Gary Brennan.

An impressive development on Spencer Street is out for public comment with the Vukelic Group moving quickly on the newly adopted Local Planning Scheme 8.

Plans include a multi-storey office, cafe and upstairs residential development.

“That mix of ground floor retail commercial, upstairs residential – we’ll see more of that,” Mr Brennan said.
