Premier Mark McGowan visited South Bunbury Primary School today to view upgrades to the school’s facilities and meet tradespeople.

“My Government is committed to providing families and children around the State with the best possible learning environments,” Mr McGowan said.

The new $5.5 million facility will include an early childhood block, general teaching block and a refurbishment of the existing kindergarten.

Bunbury MLA Don Punch said the upgrades to South Bunbury Primary School were one of his ‘key election commitments’ and was pleased to see how well construction had progressed.

“South Bunbury Primary is a popular school and these upgrades will mean students are able to learn in the best possible facilities,” Mr Punch said.

Parts of the new facility are set to be completed as early as November.
