Primary schools secure funding

Dardanup and Dalyellup primary school students are set to enjoy better playground and shade equipment thanks to State Government funding.

Dardanup secured $12,500 and Dalyellup successfully applied for $25,000 through the Government’s $3 million funding pool.

Bunbury MLA Don Punch said having interesting and engaging playgrounds was important in getting kids out and active.

“So these grants will really be appreciated by our school communities,” Mr Punch said.

“Schools need to be interesting places that capture the imagination of our kids and the playground being built will make Dalyellup Primary School even more engaging for the students.”
