Hay Park and Dalyellup Beach are still without a win this season after Saturday’s game was called of because of an unsafe pitch.
The two teams were scheduled to play at Dalyellup College, but once again the pitch was unplayable and the game was called off before a ball was bowled.
Both teams receive two championship points and the game was officially called a draw.
The pitch at Dalyellup College has been a constant issue this season, with the first grade Twenty20 game between these two sides earlier this year also being called off after just one over.
Bunbury and Districts Cricket Association president Paul Gardener said he had spoken to the club about the issue.
“This issue has been going for a number of weeks and they have some serious issues they are trying to sort out,” he said.
“They are trying very hard to put a few things in place, so we are going to have to persevere with them. The club is doing everything they can to rectify the situation and they are well aware it is not reflecting well on them as a club.”
Dalyellup are scheduled to take on Marist at Dalyellup College this Saturday, despite the pitch’s playability still being in doubt.
Gardener said the game was not yet moved, with a decision to be made later in the week.
“The club have been good in being in contact with us and giving us an update with it,” he said.
“A lot of issues are not a quick fix.”
