Roadtrain vs car

Traffic on South Western Highway was delayed this morning after a serious crash at the Giorgi Road intersection.

A white Mitsubishi Pajero collided with a road train early this morning, trapping the female driver of the car.

She was cut from the wreckage by DFES and taken to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

Police remained at the scene until about 8.30am with traffic flow resuming shortly afterwards.
