A variety of presenters will volunteer their time to develop the next generation of young leaders at the 2017 Rotary SW Young Achievers Program.

The three-day workshop for 18-to-25-year-olds will be held at Roelands Village from October 19 and will culminate in a gala dinner on October 21.

Presenter Jane Andel said business and community leaders would present “different leadership elements” to ensure young adults are equipped with essential skills, while also having the opportunity to network.

“The young leaders are people who have been identified across different sectors in Bunbury who can come along and learn leadership skills for their future,” she said.

“My role is to talk on leadership as a whole – I will be challenging them to use the skills they are learning within their team environments.

“At the end, they can take away things which are tangible and put into practice what they have learned.”

Limited places are still available, with applications open at www.youngachieversprogram.org.au.
