Rotary youth program deferred

The Rotary South West Young Achievers Program, to be held this week, has been held back to ensure the quality of the event.

The program was due to be held from this Thursday to Saturday but committee members have decided to defer the event until later this year so it can be better organised.

The committee was concerned with a few organisational factors that would have compromised the quality of the program, hence the decision to defer until Spring.

The event, designed to help 18 to 25-year-olds reach their full potential as future business and community leaders, is a joint project of the Bunbury Geographe Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Rotary Club of Bunbury Leschenault.

The committee is expected to confirm a new date of 19-21 October.
