Second import for Slammers women
The Printsync South West Slammers have bolstered their WSBL program for the 2019 season, with the club announcing Brittni Montgomery as the team’s second American import.
Montgomery, 26, who hails from Fort Pierce in Florida, played her college ball with the University of Central Florida Knights – before stints in Europe and in Australia’s SEABL competition.
Slammers WSBL coach Nathan Grover believes Montgomery will add versatility to the roster.
“Brittni will bring a strong post-game and physical defensive presence to our team in 2019,” he said in a statement to Slammers supporters.
The Slammers also confirmed the acquisition of Aimee Coles from the Mandurah Magic, along with the re-signing of Ebony Bilcich, Cian Parsons and Sydney Lewis.
