Seven South West shires allocated more than $150,000 to combat bushfires

More than 700 bushfire risk areas across 23 regional local governments are set to receive financial help following grant allocations totalling nearly $5.5 million by the State Government.

The successful local governments will carry out mitigation activities to reduce bushfire risks in their areas.

The Shire of Augusta-Margaret River was allocated $353,000, Boyup Brook, $163,830, Bridgetown, $273,535, Dardanup, $209,615, Donnybrook Balingup, $163,320, Nannup, $221,500 and Manjimup received $395,600.
