The City of Bunbury will mark R U OK Day tonight when the Koombana Foot Bridge is lit up by yellow and orange lights at dusk.

Founded in 2009, the R U OK Day encourages people to check in on their peers, co-workers, friends or relatives not just today, but any time they suspect something could be wrong.

Signs to look for include mood swings, changes in sleep patterns and withdrawing from social situations.
