Both Diamond Bay and Krikke Motorsport finished in the top 10 during Monday’s tense Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic in Victoria.

Held at Premier Speedway in Warrnambool, the 50th running of the classic was claimed by Brock Hallett, who pipped American Sheldon Haudenschild during an unforgettable final lap.

Further back in the field, Cory Eliason (Diamond Bay) and Kerry Madsen finished in seventh and eighth.

Closer to home, Bunbury-based Kye Blight added another quality feature trophy to his collection, after claiming the SSA Production Sedan WA title last Saturday night in Manjimup.

The victory, from eighth on the grid, was Blight’s second State title in this class.
