After a weekend off, sprintcars are ready for attack at the Make Smoking History Bunbury Speedway with the Auto One Sprintcar Grand Slam.

For the first time this season, sprintcars return to the South West venue in readiness for round five of the Maddington Toyota Sprintcar Series.

Leading the charge is Jamie Maiolo who already has two round wins so far this season but will face strong competition from series leader and younger brother Brad who has already played his joker card for the series.

Jason Kendrick, who has not yet won a round this season is one driver who is looking to turn his luck around as mechanical dramas have hampered the majority of his series so far.

World Series Sprintcars regular Jason Pryde is ready for a strong run before he heads east to compete in this year’s series.

A jam-packed support program is on hand with production sedans, wingless sprints, V8 dirt modifieds and legend cars all on the schedule for this event.

There will also be plenty of giveaways on hand for the kids with an appearance from Batman thanks to Heatley’s while Soundwave has more than $1000 worth of products to give away.

Adult prices for this weekend will be $25 while children under the age of 14 will be free when accompanied by an adult.
