The State’s best Kart drivers hit the Bunbury City Kart Club for round three of the Western Cup at the weekend.

The two days of intense racing began on Saturday morning, before culminating in a series of exciting finals on Sunday.

There was thrills, spills and plenty of fast action as competitors from in their teens to their 50s hit the track in a variety of categories.

In the highly competitive TaG 125 Restricted Medium division it was Ryan Nicholson who claimed a solid victory.

The Perth-based driver was outstanding in his run, putting in one of the best performances of the weekend.

The Western Cup final will be held at Hurricane Kart Club in July.

The Bunbury City Kart Club will host the WA State Sprint Kart Championships in September.
