More than 240 people lined the beaches of Bunker Bay on January 19 for the Disabled Surfers Association’s first event of the year.

According to South West branch president Ant Pursell, “let’s go surfing days” have been hosted between December and March for the past 11 years.

“We’ll take anybody into the water that wants to go,” he said.

The next event will be on February 17.
