SW suburbs do right thing with water

Kate FieldingSouth Western Times

Eaton, Australind and Dalyellup residents have been praised for their great water saving efforts.

Water Corporation South West regional manager John Janssen said the three suburbs had already saved about 90 million litres of water since the Waterwise Towns Program started in October.

“Eaton, Australind and Dalyellup residents have shown an impressive long term reduction in water use,” Mr Janssen said.

“The water saving program includes a series of personalised letters, a free irrigation reset service and a free shower head swap.”

Mr Janssen said residents had found the Water Corporation’s free irrigation reset service particularly helpful, with those taking up the service saving the most water.
