Donnybrook continued its charge towards breaking an 18-year premiership drought with a convincing 43-point win over Busselton at Sir Stewart Bovell Park on Saturday.

The Dons extended their winning streak to six games after they kicked eight goals to two in the first half of their 11.8 (74) to 4.7 (31) victory.

Harvey-Brunswick-Leschenault ran out 28-point winners over a courageous and injury-stricken Collie Eagles at Brunswick Oval on Saturday night.

The Eagles lost injury-plagued midfielder Michael Florio and ruckman Paul Rinder in the opening quarter of the contest, before going on to be defeated by the Lions 10.14 (74) to 7.4 (46).

South Bunbury overcame a scoreless first term to cause one of the upsets of the season thanks to 13-point victory over the Eaton Boomers at Glen Huon Reserve on Sunday.

The Boomers kicked six-straight goals in the first term, but managed just two for the next three quarters as the Tigers claimed a 9.12 (66) to 8.5 (53).

Carey Park booted four final-quarter goals to defeat Augusta-Margaret River by nine points at Kelly Park today.

Riese Wilkey booted five goals for the home side in their 13.9 (87) to 11.12 (78) win.

Bunbury played out another thriller, defeating the Harvey Bulls by six points at Payne Park today.

The Bulls kicked five to one in the final quarter, but could not over-run the Dogs who claimed a 11.10 (76) to 10.10 (70) victory.
