After teams had themselves a week’s rest with a general bye, the South West Netball Football League is set to return with a Friday-night double header.

Bunbury’s South West Sports Centre is set to play host to the match-ups between Bunbury and Carey Park, and Eaton and South Bunbury in back-to-back matches on Friday.

After slipping to fifth place on the ladder with a 3-6-1 record, the Bunbury Bulldogs will be looking to start building momentum when they go up against Carey Park.

Prior to the general bye, Bunbury were valiant in a tough contest against Busselton, going down 54-44 at the Geographe Leisure Centre earlier this month.

Meanwhile, Carey Park continue to chase their maiden win of the season after falling just short to South Bunbury during round 14.

Elsewhere, Eaton will be looking to continue climbing up the ladder when they take on South Bunbury.

The Boomers currently sit in third place on the ladder with a 6-3 record and will be looking to continue building up a winning streak after previously defeating Busselton and Bunbury before having a bye during round 14.

On the other hand, South Bunbury will be keen to continue finding form after going down to Harvey-Brunswick-Leschenault and bouncing back against Carey Park by two goals in their round 14 double header.

The HBL Lions and Busselton will have an additional bye for the weekend, with their round 15 match-up scheduled for late August.
