Tax office to offer tips to Bunbury businesses
The Australian Taxation Office will be in Bunbury on August 28 to talk to small businesses as part of efforts to ensure owners have the support and information they need to get their tax and super right.
Businesses are invited to attend a one-hour information session at 10am to 11am or 3pm to 4pm and a record keeping information session at 11.15am to 12.15pm.
The sessions will be held at Hotel Lord Forrest Bunbury ahead of mobile visits over coming weeks.
“Last year, we visited just under 6000 businesses around the country and at least one in three businesses we visited need to take some kind of corrective action,” assistant commissioner Matthew Bambrick said.
