Thieves hit forum shop

Thieves targeted Bunbury Forum Shopping Centre in an early morning burglary at the weekend.

The thieves forced entry into the shopping centre through a roller door about 1am on Saturday.

They then “smashed” their way into Prouds jewellery shop where police say extensive damage was caused to display cabinets.

The thieves stole a quantity of jewellery from the store before fleeing the centre.

Bunbury detectives are investigating the burglary.

Det. Sen. Const. Rob Travers said detectives were looking into a number of inquiries.
