A Bunbury business which helps job seekers with disabilities, health conditions or injuries to find sustainable work is celebrating its 30th anniversary.

Forrest Personnel Bunbury is a specialist employment agency that has provided thousands of jobs for people living in the region.

Chief executive officer Anna Bagshaw said the company had increased in size over the past 30 years.

“Forrest Personnel started in Bunbury and has grown to 16 offices throughout regional Western Australia and Perth,” she said.

“We encourage employers – large and small – to consider the broad range of skills and experience people with a disability, health condition or injury bring to the workplace.”

Ms Bagshaw said a diverse workforce was good for business.

“People with disability are reliable, productive, safe and having them in a team boosts morale and loyalty – which leads to less turnover, recruitment and training costs,” she said.
