Pleased and proud to have even been nominated for the 2017 Distribution Newsagent of the Year, Eaton Australind Newspaper Distributors owners Lisa Broun and Dean Williams were “blown away” when it was announced they had won the prestigious Statewide award.

“There are lots of distributors in Perth who have the opportunity to attend meetings but we can’t always make it up there due to our own work and family commitments,” Ms Broun said.

“There are a few of us around the south regional area who are doing a great job – Busselton and Mandurah were also nominated.

“It feels good to be recognised for just doing our job.”

Supplying homes, petrol stations, newsagents and delicatessens across Eaton, Australind, Treendale, Leschenault, Millbridge and Pelican Point, the pair have enjoyed bringing the latest news to the South West for three years.

Thanking staff for their important contribution without whom the business would not be as efficient, Mr Williams said the hard-working team was integral to the award-winning business.
