The Bunbury and Districts Cricket Association reverts to T20 this weekend, with two rounds of fixtures held on Saturday.

An intriguing battle looms early in the morning between last year’s grand finalists Eaton and Colts, who will go head to head at the Eaton Sports Ground.

Both sides have ample hitting power and whoever wins the toss will be keen to set a defendable target.

For the Beavers, James Hillery and Cory Fitt will be expected to lead from the front, given their recent form.

Colts, who are reigning T20 premiers, were unbeaten in the shortened form last season and opened the new campaign with an eight-wicket win over Hay Park on November 17.

Aside from the Goodwin duo, they will look to Lee Sorfleet for their runs.

At Forrest Park North, Marist entertain Leschenault. Both opened their T20 accounts with a victory in round one.

The Blues, who were victorious away to Dalyellup Beach, enjoyed starts from all of their openers – while the Green Caps rolled the Beavers for 123 and snuck home with victory in the final over.

In the remaining morning game, Dalyellup Beach host Hay Park, before backing up later in the afternoon against the Beavers.

The BDCA competition will go into recess over the festive season, with the first matches of 2019 held on Saturday, January 5.
