Vane leads Dynamos to 3-0 victory

A second half hat-trick by youngster Callum Vane propelled Premier League leaders Dynamos into the semi-finals of the South West Soccer Association thanks to a 3-0 win over Dunsborough at Forrest Park on Sunday.

Vane’s second-half purple patch was started in the 62nd minute with a superb power drive from outside the box after a busy hour’s sparring.

He doubled Dynamo’s lead just six minutes later with a nudge into the back of the net from close quarters after a concerted second half attack and completed the hat-trick with a fantastic move seconds before the end of the match.

he Dunsborough defence which had served their supporters well lined up to parry the shot as Hayes took aim.

However, it was sharpshooter Vane nipping in from the left to slam a sizzling grounder just inside the right post to wrap up the victory.

Adding their talents to Vane’s hat-trick were Dynamos Konescou Cho, lively back Josh Cruikshank, Hayes, Chad Edwards and goalkeeper Jordan Barclay tested by Dunsborough’s Chris Morrison and Scott Duncan.

Joining Dynamos in the semi-finals is Bunbury United, Hay Park, who defeated Dalyellup Rangers 2-1 and Busselton who smashed Australind 6-1.
