Bridgetown were no match for Manjimup at Collier Street Sporting Complex on Saturday. Manjimup made 130, while Bridgetown were all out for 67 in reply. Manjimup chose to bat after winning the toss with captain Anthony Femia (26) and Lachlan Smith opening. Lachlan Smith was soon caught by Hugh Mitchell off Matthew Reynolds, before Caylen Lagana (7) was caught by Shane Glancy off Matt Wheatley. Manjimup vice-captain Jack Muir faced one ball before being caught by Wheatley, while Luke Murphy (12) was able to get a few runs before being caught by Max Wilson. Connor Edwards (3) was able to help put a few more runs to Manjimup’s score, before being caught by Ben Lake off Wheatley, while Cameron Harris was top scorer for the home side with 27. Oscar Murphy (6), Joshua Seroka (16), Noah Murphy (3), and Dane Raper (13) helped push the total to to 130 runs with 17 extras. In reply, Matt Tasso and captain Hugh Mitchell opened for Bridgetown. Matt Tasso was caught by Lachlan Smith off Anthony Femia for one while Mitchell made 22. The wickets of Wheatley (3), Max Wilson (11), and Simon Duncan (2) soon followed. Shane Glancy (19) and Ben Lake (1) were only able to add a handful as Bridgetown was all out for 67.
