Woman dies in fiery Parkfield crash

A woman died after the car she was driving hit a tree and burst into flames in Parkfield yesterday afternoon.

The 64-year-old woman was driving on Cathedral Avenue near Buffalo Road about 1.30pm when the car left the road and hit a tree.

The woman died at the scene.

Major Crash officers are investigating and asking for anyone who may have seen the vehicle before the crash to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
