Zamel’s robbed in early morning ram-raid of Bunbury Centrepoint

An overnight ram-raid on a Bunbury jewellers has caused thousands of dollars in damage and jewels stolen from the store. Bunbury detectives are investigating the ram-raid on Bunbury Centrepoint in the early hours of Tuesday morning, with jewellery stolen from Zamel’s Jewellers. About 2.25am on April 1 offenders used a vehicle to smash through the Blair Street glass doors of the shopping centre. Once inside they entered the Zamel’s jewellery store where they stole various items before fleeing in the vehicle. Police are urging anyone with security or dash-cam footage taken around the shopping centre between 2am and 3am to send it in. This is the second crime of this nature in seven months after two teenagers were charged using bricks to smash their way into Bunbury Forum and steal jewellery from Angus and Coote.
