The Kimberley Echo

Camera IconThere was a cheerful buzz about the Ord River Sports Club last Thursday as locals gathered to watch the evening’s big game and enjoy a cocktail special. It seemed each punter’s night was made all that sweeter by knowing they were lucky to be allowed to be together at the beloved venue after months of restrictions. The Collingwood and Geelong match at Optus Stadium was enjoyed inside while guests on the veranda enjoyed the smooth acoustic sounds of David Ardach while sipping on Gingeritas, a Mexican classic drink with a Kimberley twist. Sporties relies on members and volunteers to run. Annual adult memberships are available for $30. Pictured: Aaron "Hairy" Haire and Nathan "4D" Ford. Credit: The Kimberley Echo/Elise Van Aken
