
A woman has been rushed to hospital after a multi-vehicle crash on a major highway in Perth.
Emergency crews were called to Stirling Highway in Nedlands shortly after 6.50am on Thursday following reports of a crash between several vehicles.
A woman in her 20s had been injured in the incident, and emergency services have taken her to nearby Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital.
The busy thoroughfare was shut heading west from Webster Street to Stanley Street during peak-hour traffic as emergency crews responded to the scene.
Main Roads WA confirmed the major road has fully reopened to motorists as of 8.10am.
Traffic has recommenced flowing through the area.
The crash follows an urgent warning from Main Roads to Perth drivers as a deluge of rain continues to batter the metropolitan area.
