Boat damaged in blaze at Bunbury harbour
A 10-metre boat has been damaged after a fire broke out on the vessel on Monday night.
Emergency crews were called to the mooring in Bunbury and found the 10-metre boat alight on arrival shortly before 6.30pm.
It took crews almost 90 minutes to extinguish the blaze at the Koombana Bay scene, with the boat taking on water during the firefighting efforts.
At this stage, it’s believed the fire may have been started by an electrical fault.
The owners have been notified.
The damage bill is yet to be estimated.
