Bunbury soldier named from image
A Bunbury soldier has been formally identified in a photograph by his descendants, helping to further piece together an iconic war image.
William Hough's descendants were among 40 people who attended a talk at the Bunbury Museum and Heritage Centre about the 11th Battalion at the Great Pyramid photograph.
The Bunbury soldier is one of 704 men photographed that day, with about 300 so far identified including others from Bunbury.
The WA Genealogical Society hopes to eventually identify every person.
