Perth has been warned to brace for the wet and wild weather set to start tomorrow.

The Bureau of Meteorology forecast up to a month’s worth of rain to pour on Perth and WA in the next four days.

A cold front will pass over western parts of the State during Sunday morning, with heavy rainfall due by the afternoon.

Widespread showers of up to 50mm are expected to fall tomorrow across WA, from Coral Bay to Cunderdin to Walpole, with some isolated falls predicted to reach 75mm.

Strong north to north-easterly gusts are forecast ahead of the rain, but will contract eastwards as the cold front moves through.

BOM has warned the winds will result in elevated fire dangers and possible dust storms over central and eastern parts on the State in the next two days.

Large swells of more than 5m are also predicted to hit the coast between Exmouth and Israelite Bay on Monday and Tuesday.

Coastal activities such as swimming, surfing and rock fishing may be hazardous, a BOM spokesperson has warned.

Farmers in the Mid West will be celebrating a welcome bout of wet weather on Sunday and Monday after recording months of below-average rainfall.
