RAC helicopter deployed to Bullsbrook after man and young boy seriously injured in car crash

A young boy and a man in his 30s have been seriously injured in a car crash in Bullsbrook on the first day of the New Year. The single vehicle crash occurred around 1.30pm on Wednesday, near the intersection of Chittering Road and Kimberley Street. It’s understood the car struck a power pole. The RAC Rescue Helicopter has been deployed to take the man, aged in his 30s, to Royal Perth Hospital. He is believed to be in a serious condition. The child is also badly injured and is being rushed by ambulance to Perth Children’s Hospital. It’s understood the pair were trapped in their vehicle and firefighters were called to the scene to help get them out. St John WA reported three ambulance crews were attending the scene. It comes after four crash deaths in six hours took WA’s death toll to 186 — making 2024 the deadliest on the State’s roads since 2016.
