The South West's netball junior programs have another feather in their cap, with four teenagers from the region named in the 2015 Netball WA Fever in Time (State Academy) Squad.

Cassidy Anderson, Jennifer Brown, Shantelle Tassone and Kate Duncan were all named in the squad last week, which includes netballers from around the State who have the potential and talent to go to the next level.

Cassidy Anderson and Kate Duncan are involved in the program for the second time around, where they hope to improve their skills ahead of next year's season with the SouWest Jets.

Cassidy said she thought this year's program would be more challenging than last year's.

"If you want to go further then this is the right path," he said.

"It really improves your skills too."

Kate said the program started slow before really stepping it up.

"It gets you fit for preseason, so we're already a step ahead," she said.

Both girls said they aim to go as far as they can.

Meanwhile last week five players from the South West represented WA at the School Sport Australia 15 years and under Netball Championships, finishing fourth overall.

Two of the girls were selected in the Australian schoolgirls team, which Shantelle Tassone being named in the starting line-up and Jessica Repacholi named as a shadow player.
