Telethon: The hottest ticket in town with a month to go

The Telethon weekend is less than 30 days away, and tickets for the highly anticipated opening and closing shows at RAC Arena are selling quickly. The shows are the highlight of Telethon, and this year, they will feature a long list of Australian performers, including Guy Sebastian, Samantha Jade, and Vanessa Amorosi. To see the star-studded line-up of performers on October 19-20 buy a ticket through Ticketek. Telethon is especially set to shine with a new theme for the 2024 fundraising extravaganza: Incredible Together. The new theme highlights the everyday heroes who make Telethon possible every year. Telethon chairman Richard Goyder said the theme celebrated West Australians ongoing commitment to improving the health and wellbeing of children. “It shows how our united efforts, no matter how big or small, can create an extraordinary impact for children and families across our state, proving time and time again that when we come together, we are unstoppable,” he said. The 26-hour broadcast can be watched live from RAC Arena for a gold coin donation, except during the opening and closing shows. Telethon 2024 will be broadcast live on Seven and 7Plus.
