City of Perth chief executive officer Michelle Reynolds and House the Homeless WA representative Betsy Buchanan will join The West Live this morning to discuss the Perth Lord Mayor candidates.

Dr Buchanan is expected to lay down the advocacy group's election wish list to end homelessness in Perth.

Providing a platform for advocates, experts and community leaders to discuss WA’s public housing and homelessness, the group have launched a new campaign this week calling for immediate action on crisis care.

Among their three major commitments is a push to create immediate suitable shelter for Perth's homeless and demand the WA Government create public housing for families who need it.

Ms Reynolds will weigh in on the mayoral race and discuss female-only parking bays in a CBD carpark.

Sunrise Perth correspondent Matt Tinney will also bring us up to date on the latest news headlines.

After 9.15am, The West Australian's Ben O’Shea will be back on the podcast to share some quirky stories from across the State in his Wild West segment.
