Waeel crash: Two people flown to RPH with serious injuries after collision in the Wheatbelt

A man and a woman have been flown to Royal Perth Hospital by the RAC rescue helicopter after a serious crash in the Wheatbelt. The accident happened just after 12pm today on Great Eastern Highway in Waeel, a town between Meckering and Cunderdin, about 160km east of Perth. A 58-year-old man and 53-year-old woman were seriously injured in the crash after their red Suzuki motorcycle collided with a white Chevrolet Silverado ute, which was towing a caravan. The driver is in a critical but stable condition while the woman is in a serious condition. Major Crash investigators are urging anyone with information or dash cam footage to come forward and call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report the information online.
