Fremantle’s superstar ruckman Luke Jackson finished at the top of an even spread of Brownlow Medal votes for the Dockers, while Harley Reid was easily West Coast’s most prominent poller.
Jackson came into the count as the favourite to finish with the most votes of any player to line up for the minor premiers and collected 19, which was good enough for a finish of equal-19th with North Melbourne’s Luke Davies-Uniacke.
His fellow All Australians Shai Bolton and Murphy Reid both tied for second on 15 votes, one ahead of vice-captain Caleb Serong.
Jye Amiss was the most prominent vote-getter among their key forward trio with eight votes, edging out Josh Treacy and Pat Voss (both seven).
Meanwhile, Harley Reid was nine votes clear of his closest challenger for the Eagles on 15 votes.
But the burgeoning superstar was not in the room or eligible to win the award after being suspended for a dangerous tackle in the final round of the home and away season against Hawthorn.
Jake Waterman (six votes), Elliot Yeo (four), Tim Kelly, Reuben Ginbey (both two), Milan Murdock and Bailey Williams (one) were the other West Coast players to register votes.
