Rudy Gobert and Jordan Clarkson each scored 18 points as the Utah Jazz routed the Los Angeles Lakers 114-89 in the NBA.

Gobert also had nine rebounds for Utah (26-6), who won for the 22nd time in their last 24 games - with 20 of those victories coming by double-digits.

Bojan Bogdanovic added 15 points, Mike Conley had 14 points, eight rebounds and eight assists, and Donovan Mitchell finished with 13 points, 10 rebounds, and eight assists.

LeBron James scored 19 points and Montrzel Harrell added 16 to lead the Lakers (22-11), who lost their fourth straight and fifth in six games.

Meanwhile, a brilliant final play led to Luguentz Dort hitting a buzzer-beating three-pointer to give the Oklahoma City Thunder a 102-99 win over the San Antonio Spurs.

The Spurs, looking for the last shot on Wednesday, turned the ball over with 3.9 seconds left, giving the Thunder a chance to end the game in regulation.

Instead of going to Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who scored a career-high and game-best 42 points, the Thunder went to Dort who made no mistake.

Australian Patty Mills' 15 points was only second best to Dejounte Murray's 27 tally for the Spurs.

Aron Baynes was another Boomer to taste defeat. His Toronto Raptors went down 116-108 to the Miami Heat, for whom Jimmy Butler scored a game-high 27 points.

Kyle Lowry and Fred van Fleet were the Raptors' best with 27 apiece while Baynes had seven points in his 17 minutes on court.

In other matches, Atlanta Hawks defeated Boston Celtics 127-112, hosts Indiana Pacers went down 111-107 to Golden State Warriors, Cleveland Cavaliers beat Houston Rockets 112-96, New Orleans Pelicans were victorious over Detroit Pistons winning 128-118, while the Chicago Bulls needed overtime to edge out the Minnesota Timberwolves 133-126.

Elsewhere the Charlotte Hornets downed the Phoenix Suns 124-121.
