Batting played an interesting role throughout the latest round of Bunbury and Districts Cricket Association first grade matches.
At Dalyellup College, Leschenault hung on for a two-run win over league leaders Dalyellup, after successfully defending 168. After appearing to be on course for victory at 1-93 in the 29th over, the home side was brought undone by the tenacious Green Caps.
Hay Park recorded its first win of the season, defeating Eaton by one-wicket at the Eaton Sports Ground, while Colts skittled Collie for 57 — securing victory in less than three hours.
