After pulling off one of the biggest upsets of the 2021 SWFL women’s season, Donnybrook will be looking to continue making big moves. The Dons will be hosting the Eaton Boomers during their round 12 match at VC Mitchell Park on Sunday. The match comes off the back of the Dons upsetting Bunbury by 19 points and ending their undefeated streak last weekend. From the outset, the Dons were relentless in their physical pressure and refused to let up, ensuring them the upset victory, cementing their position in the top four. On the other hand, Eaton will be looking to find some late form in a bid to lift themselves from the wooden spoon position after falling short to Carey Park last weekend. While the Boomers showed signs of promise with plenty of intercepts and physical pressure, kicking inaccuracy in front of goal proved their downfall. The Dons will also being going into the contest holding the historical advantage, having won their most recent meeting in round six last year. During that match at Glen Huon Reserve, Donnybrook defeated the Boomers 8.2 (50) to 2.1 (13).
