Elves to provide a dose of festive spark in Bunbury

FESTIVE cheer will light up the city on Friday as the Synergy Elves perform a musical show to encourage families across Bunbury to support Lifeline WA’s Shine a Light for Life Christmas appeal.

As part of the Statewide Synergy Xmas Lights Trail, elves Volt, Switch, Spark and Surge encourage the community to look out for each other during the merry season.

Lifeline WA chief executive officer Lorna McGregor said she was thrilled Synergy would be taking part in the Shine a Light for Life campaign once again in 2017.

“The festive season is Lifeline’s busiest time of the year,” Ms McGregor said.

“It’s important to be mindful of how the people in our lives are coping and letting them know they should never have to feel alone and that help is always available.”

Synergy marketing manager Kelley Yeats said the trailprovided a unique opportunity for people to raise thousands of dollars for Lifeline WA.

“We are aiming to reach as many of our customers as possible by creating an experience for people of all ages in both metropolitan and regional areas to enjoy the spirit and fun of this wonderful time of the year while raising awareness about Lifeline WA,” Ms Yeats said.

“As the sun begins to set in Bunbury, we hope families will come and watch our elves perform and take part in the vibrant activities and competitions at our tiny solar Christmas home.”

The Synergy Christmas Elves will be performing at Bicentennial Square on Friday from 6pm.
