Race returns

The South32 Collie Adventure Race is back for 2018 and will be held on October 13 and 14 at Minninup Pool.

Now in its 18th consecutive year, Rotary race director Geoff Blackford said the event was bigger and better every year.

“The introduction of the two-day event last year has seen more families get involved,” he said.

“The competitors and their families just love setting up for the day at Minninup Pool and cheering each other on.”

The event is a five-stage marathon relay, comprised of a road ride, canoe, swim, run and mountain bike legs which can be completed either as a team or as an individual ironman.
