Teenagers are being encouraged to get the free meningococcal ACWY vaccine being offered by the State Government.

The vaccine is part of a three-year Statewide program announced last month by Health Minister Roger Cook.

Students in Years 10 to 12 as well as TAFE and universities can be vaccinated next term at community health centres.
