Bunbury’s Rando & Associates will be hoping to break the $30,000 fundraising mark at its fifth Women’s Health and Wellness Day.

Tickets are now on sale for the business’ annual fundraiser with all money again going towards the Cancer Council WA Dot’s Place South West.

The women’s day to be held on April 5 includes a lunch with special guest speakers, live demonstrations, stalls and raffles and is renowned for being a great day out.

Practice manager Laura Relph said she hoped the annual event empowered women.

“What I expect and what I’ve always wanted to come away from this day, is women coming away feeling inspired and feeling like they can achieve whatever they want to,” Mrs Relph said.

Client services manager Maddison Nuske said it was also a chance for women to have some fun.

“Some ladies just come for a good day out, they’ve booked it off work and just use it as a chance to have some fun,” she said.

Ms Nuske said the number of stall holders had grown and there was more variety this year as organisers moved to a new venue at Bunbury’s Waters Edge restaurant.

Last year’s event raised about $7000, taking the total raised over the years to $19,335 and it is hoped $10,000 will be raised this year.

Mrs Relph said a guest speaker was still being locked in, but if previous years were anything to go by, the event was sure to be well received.

Guest speakers have included former Fremantle Dockers AFLW coach Michelle Cowan and Australian Paralympian Priya Cooper.

Early bird tickets can be purchased by calling 9792 4800.
