WA Labor has romped to a historic victory in the 2021 State election, with the Liberal Party reduced to just two seats in the House of Representatives.

The win saw Opposition Leader Zak Kirkup lose the electorate of Dawesville, the first time a Liberal leader has lost their seat in 88 years.

Mr McGowan thanks the people of WA, promising to get to work tomorrow to ensure a strong State for all voters.

Mr Kirkup said he would keep his promise to bow out of politics following the loss.
