The Ashes live scores: Follow the latest from Day 3 of the Third Test from Adelaide Oval

Ben Stokes is once again holding England together, but Australia know a good day will all but seal The Ashes as they look to wrap up the tail.
England limped to 8-213 thanks to a 45 run stand between Stokes and Jofra Archer to leave the Barmy Army with a glimmer of hope.
There was more DRS drama but Australia were largely superb with the ball and will be looking to wrap up two quick wickets and then bat for a long chunk of time to secure The Ashes once again.
Folllow the day in our blog below!
Key Events
Just short!
Jacks catches the edge of Head’s bat with his last ball but it drops short of first slip.
There’s no pace in this wicket and Australia are going to want a lot of runs on the board when it comes time to bowl again.
A draw is not off the cards here so all three results still on the table.
AUS 1-53, lead by 138
Change of tact
England have brought in the off spin after Crase delivered his best spell of the series.
The pitch is still very flat and Head looked to be aggressive against Jacks.
It might also get Marnus going as he is struggling for tempo.
AUS 1-49, lead by 134
Slow burn
Australia are happy to milk the singles as Tongue’s first over is all over the place.
They have few catchers on the off side but he keeps bowling wide of off stump.
Head and Labuschagne ticking over at three runs per over.
AUS 1-33, lead by 118

Review
England waited until their was one second left on the clock but they have reviewed a close edge on Marnus.
However, there is a clear gap between bat and ball.
Archer sore
The big quick is looking worse for wear after a big first innings and then making a half century.
His speeds a mid 130s even after the long break.
It’s the hardest part for England with their batting collapses just not giving the bowlers time to rest.
AUS 1-23, Lead by 108
Umpire failure
The umpires have sent a fair catch review up to the third umpire without giving Marnus out on field.
The ball bounced millimetres before Smith’s gloves but odd to not make a call on field first, especially with Snicko showing there was a faint edge.
AUS 1-19, lead by 104
BBL is back!

Lunch
Archer went after Marnus with two leg slips for the last couple of balls but the Aussie No.3 doesn’t fall for the trap.
And it gets Australia through a session that has belonged to England.
AUS 1-17, Australia lead by 102
100 lead back
Marnus clips a ball on the pads away for four and Australia lead by triple digits again.
Carse started well but his second over has let the pressure off on the stroke of lunch.
AUS 1-16, lead by 101
Given!
Weatherald has been trapped lbw by Carse.
The big quick pitches one on leg and gets it to straighten.
The opener played all around the ball and it thunders into his pads.
He and Head contemplate a reveiw but Weatherald walks off. However, a reveiw would have saved him as the ball pitched outside leg stump.
AUS 1-8, lead by 93
