Sean Darcy has put in a commanding performance sending a strong message to Justin Longmuir that he should not be forgotten as a star-studded Peel team thrashed East Perth by 98 points.
Darcy, who was one of 15 Dockers playing at Lane Group Stadium on Saturday, kicked two opening quarter goals including a bomb from a set shot outside the 50m arc against former Dockers teammate Scott Jones.
The 23.4 (142) to 6.8 (44) win marks the first time both Peel and Fremantle sit atop of their respective ladders at the same time as Peel hit six wins on the trot.
Looking to replace the underperforming Mason Cox as the second ruck, Darcy put forward another excellent performance with 17 disposals, 16 hitouts, six marks and two goals.
Sharp cant do much more to pull a Dockers jumper on again than another massive best on ground performance with a game high 33 disposals, 10 marks and two goals. The 24-year-old gave the chirping East Perth supporters some love after booting his second on the three quarter time siren.
Lachlan Tardrew (29 touches, 11 marks and a goal) played second fiddle to Sharp in the middle but did just as much damage with his inside contested work while young Dockers key forward Charlie Nicholls booted three goals including two from range.

Without co-captains Hamish Brayshaw and Christian Ameduri East Perth struggled to get going all over the ground, and never looked likely from the early parts of the clash.
Luke Foley (21 and eight marks), Angus Scott (24 and a goal) and Jones (15 touches and 17 hitouts) all tried their guts out but it wasn’t enough against the dominant Thunder side.
Alarm bells were ringing in the Royals coaches box in the opening term with the Thunder able transition the ball from end-to-end with absolute ease.
Peel had all the play with 21 inside 50s to seven to start the game, with the Thunder looking like they had an extra player on field.
East Perth managed their first goal to Kade Screaigh with seven seconds remaining in the quarter to keep themselves out of the history books with scoreless quarters.
Adding to the pain Royals defender Ethan Regan went down with a knee injury in the opening minute of the second quarter.

The onslaught didn’t stop after quarter time with East Perth missing multiple easy chance while Peel slot majors from all parts, kicking their highest ever score at halftime of 80 points against the Royals.
East Perth evened up around the contest after halftime but Peel were still able to hit the scoreboard with their elite skill level and ball use let them pick their way through the Royals defence.
15 of Peel’s 23 players on field kicked a goal, with seven of those kicking multiple major’s.
The final 98 point margin is the second highest for Peel against East Perth, gaining almost 15 per cent and now a comfortable lead over Claremont at the pointy end of the ladder.
