Pies answer

Shanahan had his long shot touched on the line and the Eagles can’t defend the kick-in depsite having a score review to set up in.

CDT finds the mark!

Baker was sensational going back with the flight to save a certain goal at the other end and then run onto the spill and find Cole as an outlet.

Crisp then didn’t stand and Cole makes the most of the 50.

Gross wins the ground ball and gets it to Duff-Tytler with a smart kick and the young gun finally finds the big sticks.

First strike!

The Eagles could have had a major after getting the first clearance of the term but Reid bit off more than he could chew and was caught holding the ball.

But Lindsay gets an intercept at halfback and they go forward and find Waterman.

He runs onto the ball after turning the defender and slots the goal on the run.

3QT: West Coast 78, Collingwood 101

It’s a long road back for West Coast but their late goals in the third were important.

The Pies were classes above throughout the term and looked like they were going to blow the home side away coming off a nine-day break.

But the Eagles found a second wing very late.

Nick Daicos has nearly 30 disposals but Reid lifted massively for the Eagles to get them back in it.

Kelly only had the four touches for the quarter and it really hurt West Coast in the middle.

Pies lead clearances by 11 as well.

Bang, bang

The Eagles have two in a row and Reid was the start again.

The youngster breaks a tackle and gets a handball away before getting it back and putting a calming kick to Lindsay.

The Eagles then go forward with purpose and Jack Williams takes a strong grab.
